AIRBORNE DENG SYSTEMY
The unit provides everything required in an ultra compact case for use
into helicopters and fixed wings aircrafts.
The downlink unit can be powered by a 12Vcc battery pack or by 28Vcc
of the helicopter or aircraft.
A separate control panel is available as optional unit.
Standard transmission frequency range is 2.5 – 2.7 GHz.
Other frequency ranges are available on request.
Output power: 1W – 5W switchable.
TX antenna: linear omni-directional with 360° constant azimuth
coverage, housed in a self-contained fiberglass radome, weather resistant – low profile.
Helicopter option: electro-mechanical actuator mount.
Ground DENG system
The reception of the downlinked signals can be achieved by different antenna systems:
•
Omni-directional antenna with 360° constant azimuth coverage, housed in a self-contained fiberglass
radome, weather resistant – low profile.
•
Directional antenna
•
Array of four directional sector antenna housed in a fiberglass radome with 4 ways diversity receiver
•
Array of eight directional sector antenna housed in a fiberglass radome with 8 ways diversity receiver
The choice of the proper antenna receiving system depends on the area coverage needs. Furthermore it is very
important to know if you have or not line-of-sight, in respect of the transmitted signal.
