The AIRcorp Model 500TV microphone processor was designed to solve the most common audio miking problems found in today's TV studios and on remote locations.
The Model 500TV's complementary compressor and expander sections maintain a predictable level of loudness for the air talent, while virtually eliminating adjacent microphone crosstalk and room noise . Dynamic control coupling eliminates "hollow room" flanging effects . Multiple microphones can be on simultaneously. The three-band equalizer is especially configured to address the problems presented by off-axis and partially obscured lavalier microphones, as well as normal booth miking. In addition, the Model 500TV's "electronic wind screen" allows the device to process spoken word and ignore high levels of ambient noise and rumble without coloring the processed material.
AIRcorp's Model 500TV can accomodate any commonly used dynamic, condenser, or ribbon microphone, and it can also be fed by line level program switchers and production consoles, making it the most versatile dedicated speech processor available to Audio-for-Video professionals. .
